Higonokami, Japanese Knife, Hammered Back, Black 100mm
Higonokami was founded in 1896 and is one of the most famous pocket knife brands in Japan and beyond. The light weight design, as well as the simple yet durable design and high quality steel make these knives highly coveted. These traditional Japanese knives are trademarked and can only be manufactured in Miki City, Hyogo prefecture. These compact and convenient knives are perfect for daily use.
Rules of Knife Safety 1. Always ensure that no one is within arms reach of you when you are using your knife. 2. Always cut away from yourself. 3. When performing finer work, try to get a thumb on the spine (back) of the blade. 4. Do not touch or move the knife toward anything you’re not willing to cut. 5. Keep the blade closed or sheathed until ready to cut.
* Small marks and scratches are normal with all Higonokami. * Rust can easily be removed if it does occur, but we recommend you hand wash and thoroughly dry the knife after each use. Do not use a dishwasher. For extended storage, coat in some oil.
